The animals that are on the reels are also nicely designed, with the game’s art-style really breathing life into everything. Overall, I was very impressed with the design of Animals Strike. 

Animals Strike may have a relaxing design, but the base game is actually very action-packed. The slot takes place on a 6x5 game grid, but three of those rows are initially blocked off. When the game is at 6x6, there are 729 ways to win, but when the whole grid is unlocked, there are 46,656 ways to win available on each spin. The gameplay screen is well laid out. Players can hit the spin button, use the turbo and autospin features, and change their stake using the collection of buttons to the right of the game grid.

After taking the Animals Strike slot for a demo spin, I found the gameplay and design to be intriguing and took it for a spin for real money at top online casinos. I selected my stake at $1 and set the game to 50 auto spins. 

After around 20 dead spins, I managed to trigger the Free Spins round. I took the Gamble Wheel option, and it paid off, with my first two gambles getting me up to 12 spins. I decided not to try for 15 and took the 12. During the round, I managed to hit two big winning sequences on my first two spins and ended up stacking up a decent multiplier of 12x throughout the round. Overall, I ended up winning around 35x my stake. 

My remaining spins provided a mixture of wins, and I ended my 50 spins with $72, which gave me a near 50% profit. 

Animals Strike has an RTP of 96%, which puts it at around average. The game is considered highly volatile, and the maximum win is 10,000x your stake. These numbers are all fairly solid and are similar to what I have come to expect from an AvatarUX slot. 

Animals Strike is a really solid slot that could have benefitted from a few minor improvements. First, though, the good stuff - the game looks brilliant, and the bonus features, when triggered, can lead to some really fun sequences. The winning potential is also solid. 

However, when you are just playing the base game, the action feels a little condensed, and you can’t shake the feeling you are just waiting for the game to expand until it really begins. As such, a long, winless period can leave the slot feeling a little underwhelming.
