Push Gaming, the London-based online slot developer founded in 2010, is expanding its portfolio with a new sub-brand and two dedicated slot game categories. The move represents one of the company’s most significant strategic shifts since entering the iGaming sector.
The studio has built its reputation on more than 40 titles optimised for mobile play, including fan favourites such as Razor Returns, Big Bamboo, Mad Cars, and the fruit-themed Jammin’ Jars.
George Fil, product strategy director at Push Gaming, said the launch of Reel Hot Games alongside Push Originals and Push Actions marks “a pivotal moment” in the firm’s growth strategy.
“We are laser-focused on pushing boundaries so as to deliver products that benefit everyone,” Fil said.
“By diversifying our portfolio with these new categories and sub-brand, we’re not just expanding our offerings, we’re creating ultimate gaming experiences leveraging our heritage in content standards for a broader audience and driving significant growth for our partners in key markets.”
The new Reel Hot Games sub-brand is designed to capture the popularity of traditional slots. Inspired by land-based casino machines, the series will feature three-reel titles with recognisable fruit, bar, and seven symbols, enhanced with modern mechanics.
The first example of this style was Power Vault, released in March. Push Gaming said the brand will aim to resonate in European markets such as the Netherlands, Greece, Romania, and Bulgaria, where demand for retro-style slots remains strong.
“There is a huge appetite for classic slots, so we’re levelling up our response to that,” Fil told Casinos.com.
“The nature of Reel Hot Games, re-imagined classics, does contrast quite significantly with the games and styles we’ve become famous for and, therefore, it felt right for it to have its own identity.”
Push Gaming also announced the reorganisation of its existing portfolio into two categories: Push Originals and Push Actions.
Push Originals will house the company’s signature high-volatility slots with complex mechanics, such as Bamboo Ways. Push Actions, meanwhile, will feature more accessible games aimed at casual players, including recent releases 3 Magic Pots and 10 Flaming Bisons.
“We are player-centric in everything we do and that includes providing a wider range of games for all to enjoy,” Fil said.
“Push Originals and Push Actions will help to separate these different styles and experiences and give more clarity to operators and players so they know exactly where to find the games they desire.”
Push Gaming’s expansion strategy is also targeting North America. In June, the company partnered with BetMGM to launch Power Vault in Michigan. The low-volatility slot will also be rolled out in New Jersey in the coming months.
As part of the shake-up, Push Gaming plans to recategorise all existing titles under the new brand and category structure.
“We will eventually be re-categorizing all games that have already been released although this has not commenced just yet,” Fil said.
