Playzia has secured a major partnership with Midnite, giving UK players access to its full portfolio of online slots. The deal positions Playzia as a fast-rising supplier in the regulated UK online casinos market and adds fresh, branded content to Midnite’s growing games lobby.
Under the agreement, Midnite will integrate Playzia titles such as Grand Ocean Megaways, Zeus’s Thunderstrike, Billionaire Buffalo Hold ’n Win, and Piggy Clusters.
The headline release is Playzia’s Love Island slots, timed to coincide with ITV Studios’ 2025 season of the hit reality TV show. The first game, Love Island, Love in a Spin, is already live, developed under a three-year licensing deal with Zoo 55, a division of ITV Studios. In total, 10 branded Love Island slots are scheduled.
Joe Caetano, Head of Commercials at Playzia, said the launch strengthens the developer’s position in the UK slots market.
“Teaming up with Midnite is a significant milestone as we expand our footprint in regulated markets, particularly the UK. Midnite is known for delivering cutting-edge betting experiences to its players, making them an ideal partner for our games,” Caetano said.
He added that the new branded slots are designed to capture Love Island’s summer buzz:
“We are especially excited to bring our new Love Island titles to their platform just in time for this summer’s series. It is the perfect moment for UK players to step into the villa and experience something truly unique.”
For Midnite, which develops its platform entirely in-house, the deal reflects its strategy of adding exclusive content to its UK casino site.
“We are constantly striving to enhance the Midnite casino experience for our players and this partnership adds to our rich offering of content,” said Chelsea Pinho, Senior Casino Manager at Midnite.
She said branded slots were a perfect fit for UK players:
“We are particularly excited to offer a selection of Love Island games – including Love in a Spin, and I am sure they will be a perfect match for our players.”
The Midnite partnership signals how competitive the UK online slots market has become, with operators using branded titles to attract new players. Playzia’s mix of themed games, probability-based mechanics, and localised content reflects a broader industry trend of entertainment-driven design.
Playzia has also earned industry recognition, landing nominations for Slot Supplier (Under 5 Years) and Software Rising Star at the EGR B2B Awards 2025.
Meanwhile, Midnite continues to build its reputation as a challenger brand in the UK gambling sector. Backed by more than $35 million in funding from investors including Raine Group and Makers Fund, Midnite is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Irish Revenue Commissioners. Most of my career was spent in teaching including at one of the UK’s top private schools. I left London in 2000 and set up home in Wales raising four beautiful children. I enrolled at University where I studied Photography and film and gained a Degree and subsequently a Masters Degree. In 2014 I helped launch a new local newspaper and managed to get front and back page as well as 6 filler pages on a weekly basis. I saw that journalism was changing and was a pioneer of hyperlocal news in Wales. In 2017 I started one of the first 24/7 free independent news sites for Wales. Having taken that to a successful business model I was keen for a new challenge. Joining the company is exciting for me especially as it is a new role in Europe. I am keen to establish myself and help others to do the same.
