SuperBook Sports Debuting Colorado Sportsbook at Lodge Casino

The well-known SuperBook Sports brand is set to make its debut in Colorado.

On Friday, SuperBook Sports will host a grand opening event for its new sportsbook at the Lodge Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado.

"We could not be more excited for the grand opening of The SuperBook at the Lodge Casino,” said Jay Kornegay, SuperBook Sports Executive Vice President of Sportsbook Operations in a news release. “It is a perfect fit for our initial expansion outside Las Vegas. We will continue to focus on what sets us apart: Better odds, favorable pricing and an extensive wagering menu. Having a partner with the stellar reputation and well-known brand of The Lodge will only make us that much better."

SuperBook Continues Expansion in Colorado

SuperBook Sports operates the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino sportsbook. In late 2020, SuperBook Sports launched its mobile wagering app in Colorado to expand its presence to another gaming state.

SuperBook Sports’ new Colorado sportsbook will mark the first retail location for the brand outside of Las Vegas. The new sportsbook will include 28 televisions across 7,000 square feet and feature functional Las Vegas-style seating in addition to a fully loaded bar. Bettors can wager at any of the three visiting windows or sit and bet on games with the SuperBook app.

"Having Jay Kornegay lead this exciting opportunity, along with his reputable team, we have no doubt that Colorado fans are sure to appreciate the knowledge and experience they bring to the market," JJ Garcia, Vice President of Operations for The Lodge & Gilpin Casinos, said in the release.

Black Hawk Casino Grand Opening

SuperBook will have special events to commemorate the opening of its sportsbook at the Lodge, about 35 miles west of Denver. A ribbon-cutting is scheduled at around noon, while the first bet will be placed by former Denver Broncos offensive lineman Mark Schlereth, now a television and radio personality. Other media outlets will also be live on site.

"We look forward to creating an experience not only on the day of the opening but every day, where both the most sophisticated players along with novice sports bettors feel like they can sit back and enjoy the game,” SuperBook Sports' Head of Marketing Kristin Mackey said. “We are creating an atmosphere that is grounded in the traditional sportsbook experience."

Players can view SuperBook.com and register for the mobile wagering app any time before or after the grand opening. Bets can only be placed while players are in the state of Colorado.
