Our research and analytics teams scraped all of Tripadvisor’s reviews, those stellar and those less so, to get to the luckiest place in Florida. We looked at mentions of terms like “ lucky”, “winning”, “success” and other applicable, luck-related keywords.

We looked at 14 of the busiest Florida casinos to find the luckiest, and by extension, unluckiest, casino destinations in the Everglade State.

Which Is The Luckiest Casino in Florida?

You know how the saying goes – luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity, and while opportunity is up to you, we at Casinos.com can give you the best preparation there is for hitting the casino floor. Florida is home to several casinos under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act and tribal casinos secured multiple positions on our list, with three landing in the top 5. 

Our research points towards the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek as the luckiest casino in Florida, with a luck rate of 33.09%! 

Out of 550 reviews, 31 mentions the words “lucky” or “luck” but an impressive 82 mentioned “winning”, “success” or “won.” Seminole Casino Coconut Creek additionally received 182 mentions of lucky keywords.

"Win, Win, Win is the lucky phrase for this casino!" said one one the reviewers.

Following it closely, with a luck percentage of 31.31%, is its sister destination, Seminole Hard Rock Casino Tampa. While landing in number 2, this casino received the highest amount of reviews - a flattering 2742- out of which 1366 of 4 and 5 star reviews. The number of reviews mentioning lucky terms including "won," "success" and "jackpot" is a staggering 859.

During our research process, Seminole Hard Rock Casino Tampa reported another jackpot, making it a serous pretender to spot number 1 of our yearly list. Coconut Creek, watch your back in 2025, Tampa is sneaking upward!

It doesn’t quite come as a surprise that multiple Florida casinos on our list are boats - after all, the Sunshine State has a long history of onboard entertainment and the most reviewed boat casino, Tropical Breeze Casino, landed at lucky spot number 3. The luck you’re likely to encounter off shore is still high, at 29.23%.

Methodology:

Casinos.com utilized Tripadvisor reviews to do an in-depth analysis of phrases associated with danger to determine the luckiest casinos in Florida. We calculated the percentage of threat-rated mentions in the total Tripadvisor reviews and calculated the percentages for each establishment. 

Only casinos with a minimum of 5,000 reviews were selected to ensure a fair sample size. 

• Keywords tracked: unsafe, scary, scared, aggressive, brawl, confrontation, violent, violence 

Data was collected and tallied up to April 25, 2024.
